Phyllis Sederquest is a largely self-taught visual artist who has supplemented her practice with workshops and classes at the Dunedin School of Fine Art in Dunedin, Florida. Her love of the arts drives her to keep learning and creating.

She draws inspiration from variety; painting many subjects and working in different media. That variety challenges her skills, expands her imagination, and offers viewers a range of choices.

Phyllis hopes her work will encourage other self-taught artists and beginners to keep learning, to persevere, and to experiment broadly with their own art.
