DAVID NJOS
A COLLECTION OF A LIFETIME
David Njos is a native of Williston, North Dakota. He graduated from Williston High School and attended the University of ND - Williston (Williston State College) and the Colorado Institute of Art. He also served in the US Army, doing a tour in Vietnam.
Over the years, David has worked in multiple mediums, including wood, metal, glass, leather, Pen & ink, watercolor, and pencil.
His major projects include the Freedom Monument, Vietnam-Korean Monument, Wheat Monument, church railings at the First Lutheran Church, and Clark’s Table iron sculpture at Williston State College. David’s “Ribbon of Life”, a family history he etched in a mirror and installed in a 25-foot-high ceiling in a Missoula, MT home, was a multi-year project. Landscaping design was also a prominent part of his early career.
Upon retirement, David enjoys creating art in his home art studio in Williston.
