Erica Jespersen "Portraits of Furniture" Watercolor exhibit on display in GI
Join us for an Artist Reception on Friday, February 5, from 7 - 8:30 PM
Erica is a wife, mom, and studio artist based out of Bowbells, North Dakota. She has featured several of her pieces in the Minot State University Student Juried Show and won Best of Show in 2015. She has also shown work at the Taube Museum of Art in Minot.
Although she enjoys creating with a variety of mediums, she primarily uses watercolor. Her current project is a collection of furniture still life watercolor paintings. Erica says she tried to capture the personality of the furniture to enable the viewer to picture the type of person she sees behind the piece. To personify the furniture further, she used a portrait style in her paintings.
Erica’s exhibit will be on display in Gallery I throughout the month of February.
