Mathew Norton and Small Works Community Show
On Display in Gallery I the month of April is, Mathew Norton’s exhibit entitled, “Escape.” Mathew Norton is an ND native, born in Bismarck and raised in the small town of Riverdale, ND. On display in Gallery II, the Small Works Community Juried show. This show has art submitted from artists around the area, come vote for your favorite to win the People’s Choice award! These exhibits will be on display until April 29th. There will be an Artist Reception on Friday, April 5th from 7-9pm. Come chat with artists with entries into the Small Works show and enjoy an evening with fellow art lovers. The Artist Reception is free and open to the public.

JMPS Board of Directors show March 18th-31st
Board of Directors exhibit in Gallery I
Starting Monday, March 18th the James Memorial Art Centers Preservation Society’s Board of Directors will have an exhibit in Gallery I. This exhibit will be on display until Sunday, March 31st. Each member of the Board has a special connection to some form of art, be it photography, painting, writing, mixed media and more. The show will consist of works of art from each member currently serving on the board. The board is happy to share their artistic talents with the community. Hope to see you at the James during this exhibit to support these local artists!

Williston Area Woodworkers & Williston Camera club exhibits
The Williston Camera Club and Williston area Woodworkers will have their artwork on display at the James Memorial Art Center from March 9th until March 17th. The James will be offering extended gallery hours. We will be open from 10:00am until 7:00pm on the 9th, 10th & 17th . During the week, March 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15, the gallery will be open until 7pm to view this exhibit. There will also be a silent auction.
Wiliston State College Student Art Show February 2nd-28th
The James Memorial Art Center will hold an artist reception on Thursday, February 7th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for the Williston State College Student art show. Refreshments provided by Williston State College. Free and open to the public. Works will be on display in both, Gallery I & II, from February 2nd until February 28th. Be sure to stop by to view these creations by WSC’s incredibly talented students!
