May Exhibits: "Variety of Dreams", Band Day, and Williston Student Art
Phyllis Sederquest's Exhibit titles "Variety of Dreams" is a wonderful display of landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, and more! She uses a variety of mediums and subjects in her works. Be sure to stop by and read her bio and view her works which are for sale.
Williston Students grades k-12 were able to submit pieces to the North Dakota Student Art Show, which shows at the James every January. Pieces submitted by Williston students that were not accepted to the traveling show are on display until the end of May. We are so proud of these young artists!
Also in Gallery II, a small display celebrating 90 years of Band Day, as well as several pieces from our Virgil Severson Collection. Thank you to John Geyerman for sharing recent Band Day Photos with us!
April 3-28 Small Works (GII) and "Prairie Impressions"
Gallery I: Nicole Ganger's "Prairie Impressions is a great way to kick off spring. Her paintings are in a variety of mediums and fun sizes. They represent the landscape of ND and things that will remind you of home.
Nicole will be teaching a workshop April 29th in mixed media and creativity. Times will be posted on the Art Classes page!
Gallery II: Small Works: this exhibit consists of 63 entries from the Williston community! Limited to 12 inches in size, these small works pack a lot of punch into a small area. Be sure to see the creativity of the artists in our community!
