Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on November 30, 2021. Grassroots generosity and community action are powerful forces for good, especially in turbulent times. The historic  James Memorial Library building has been a constant in Williston’s history for the past 110 years. By updating and rehabilitating the downstairs kitchenette the James will be able to provide a space for people to appreciate the beauty and usability of the historic facility. Many local organizations and community members use the lower level of the facility for functions. By providing a safe and usable space for them to host we are directly impacting the community at large.

By continuing the rehabilitation of the lower level we are preserving the facility for generations to come. It directly pertains to the heritage of our area by hosting events that bring to light Williston history and preserving a treasured landmark.
