James memorial art center seeking funds to assist in purchasing a printer for the office

For quite some time now, we have been having lots of troubles with the printer/copy machine in the office at the James. Recently, it has become nearly impossible to print important papers for advertising events, classes and newsletters we send out to James members. Without advertising, less people hear about the events, art classes and such that take place at the James. With less people attending events and classes, the less funding we receive from class registration, event entrance fees, donations, as well as grants. The James Memorial Preservation Society has been issued a matching funds grant opportunity by an anonymous donor. The money raised will be used to purchase a new printer/copier machine and pay for a service plan, for the office at the James.

The donor will donate up to $800 on a dollar for dollar match. *The printer/copier and service plan will cost around $3,000 in total, we would greatly appreciate as many donations as we can get even if it is over the matched amount of $800*

If you are considering making a charitable contribution to a local non-profit, please keep the James in mind.  Your donation will allow us to continue to keep the office up and running without spending money other places for printing.  It doesn’t have to be a large amount – remember that monies donated will double with this challenge.

The James Memorial Preservation Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the regulations of the IRS.  Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Thank you for your continued support of the James Memorial Art Center.
